4 in hospital after QEW crash in Oakville involving alleged impaired driver

While authorities were in the midst of investigating a separate incident on the QEW in Oakville today, a subsequent collision transpired as a vehicle with an alleged impaired driver, collided with a crash response truck, resulting in four individuals being transported to the hospital.
On Sunday (Sept. 17) the OPP say they were conducting an investigation into a collision near Winston Churchill Blvd., when another vehicle collided with the crash response truck that was safeguarding the scene in an active lane.

Investigators say as a result of the incident four people, including an Ontario Ministry of Transportation worker were sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle was charged with impaired driving and dangerous driving.
