$36 million lottery jackpot was just won in Canada

A massive lottery jackpot was won in Canada Wednesday night.

A gold ball was pulled in the Lotto 6/49 gold ball draw, meaning one ticket took home the $36 million jackpot.

That winning ticket was sold in Alberta, according to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation.

In terms of the classic draw, no one matched six out of six numbers to win the $5 million jackpot.

Two tickets, however, got five out of six numbers plus the bonus to win $78,967.40.

One of those tickets was sold in Ontario and the other in Quebec, according to the WCLC.

There were also 105 tickets that got five out of six numbers to win $631.60.

Here’s a look at the winning numbers for the Wednesday, Oct. 15 Lotto 6/49 draw, according to the WCLC: 

Classic draw: 5, 10, 17, 26, 31, 32, Bonus 24

Gold ball draw ($36 million prize): 30367074-01

Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw has the classic jackpot at its fixed $5 million, as well as the gold ball jackpot at $10 million, or the guaranteed $1 million prize.
