33-year-old Brampton man dead following a Hwy motorcycle crash

A Brampton man has died after being transported to a hospital, following a fatal motorcycle accident this morning, where he allegedly lost control and hit a sign.

On Saturday (May. 13) shortly before 1:00 a.m., police say there was a single-vehicle collision near the eastbound exit ramp of Hwy 407 towards Hwy 404 southbound.

According to officers, the operator behind the motorcycle was from Brampton and the crash occurred due to driver losing control on the ramp and hitting a sign.

The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the the scene and located the 33-year-old driver who appeared to be seriously injured and paramedics attempted life-saving efforts.

The man was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The ramp was shutdown overnight and was reopened 9:00 a.m. this morning.

The investigations are ongoing.
