33-year-old Misssissauga man ‘in state of crisis’ has been missing for over a week

Peel police continue to search for a Mississauga man who has been missing for over a week, and could be in a state in crisis while possessing guns.

Ruben Majka, 33, was reported missing on Oct. 3 from the Westminster Place/Rathburn Rd. E. area of east Mississauga after last being seen the previous night. An aerial search did not turn up any trace of him. The Peel Regional Police have also alerted police in Halton, Hamilton, York and Toronto about Majka’s situation, in addition to the Ontario Provincial Police. In the course of the missing person investigation, Peel police have learnd that Mukja is believed to be in a state of crisis and may be in possession of several firearms.

Majka is 5-foot-9 with with a medium build and short brown hair. He was was last seen wearing an olive green windbreaker jacket, white running shoes and a black backpack.

Anyone who spots Mukja is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately, and to not approach him.
