Another Oshawa stabbing sends man to Toronto trauma centre

A man has been rushed to a Toronto trauma centre after he was stabbed near the McDonalds restaurant at Ritson Road and Dean Avenue in Oshawa Sunday night.

It was the fifth stabbing in the city in the past ten days.Durham Region paramedics were on scene to provide life-saving medical treatment before the man was rushed to hospital.

It is unclear if the man was stabbed at the restaurant or if he had gone there seeking help, but Durham Police investigators were seen gathering evidence in the McDonalds drive thru area.

Police have not yet released a statement on the incident.
