$31 million lottery jackpot won in this province in Canada

A big lottery jackpot was won in Canada Tuesday night.

Lotto Max had a $31 million jackpot and one ticket matched seven out of seven numbers to claim the prize.

The winning ticket was purchased in British Columbia, a spokesperson for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation told INsauga.com.

That ticket was bought online, according to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation website.

Other than the jackpot, no one matched six out seven numbers plus the bonus to win the second prize of $156,668.10.

But 36 tickets got six out of seven numbers to win $4,351.90.

According to the OLG website, these were the winning numbers for the Tuesday, Sept. 23 Lotto Max draw: 08 09 23 30 38 40 43 Bonus 41.

The next Lotto Max draw is on Friday with an estimated $10 million jackpot.
