3 stolen SUVs have been recovered in Mississauga as Brampton man charged

Three high-end SUVs have been recovered in Mississauga.

Peel Police officers from 12 Division Auto Theft Unit, executed a search warrant and charged a Brampton man with Trafficking in property and Possession of property obtained by crime-related offences.

On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, Peel Police officers executed a search warrant in the area of Cawthra Road and Queensway East, in Mississauga.

As a result of the search warrant, the following vehicles were located and recovered:

  • 2022 White Toyota Highlander
  • 2022 Grey Toyota Highlander
  • 2022 Grey Toyota Highlander

Michael Sarkodie, a 31-year-old man from Brampton, has been charged with the following Criminal Code Offences:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime
  • Trafficking in Stolen Goods Over $5000
  • Trafficking in Stolen Goods Over $5000
  • Trafficking in Stolen Goods Over $5000

Michael Sarkodie was released on a court order with conditions and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on April 25, 2023, to answer to these charges.
