3 people treated by paramedics after house fire breaks out in Brampton

A fire broke out at a Brampton home on the weekend.

Crews responded to a fire at home in the area of James Potter Road and Charolais Boulevard in Brampton on Sunday (May 7), Brampton Fire and Emergency Services said in a tweet just after 6 p.m.

A video shows the home consumed by fire, and Brampton Fire asked people to avoid the area due to heavy smoke.

Three people were assessed by paramedics at the home, Brampton Fire said. There was no further information on their condition.

The fire was deemed under control by 7 p.m.

There is no word on the cause of the fire.
