3 people stabbed; 1 suffers life-threatening injuries in Mississauga

Three people were stabbed and one person is in custody after an incident in Mississauga overnight.
The incident happened in the Wolfedale Road and Forestwood Drive area, near Dundas Street and Mavis Road, at 12:48 a.m. this morning, Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.
A police spokesperson told insauga.com the incident was a stabbing.
One person suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. Two other people went to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
One man was taken into custody and there are no outstanding suspects, police said.
There is currently no threat to public safety connected to this incident, police added.
There is a large police presence in the area for the investigation.
Police said more information will be coming later this morning.
