3 people in hospital following two-vehicle crash in Mississauga

A busy intersection in Mississauga has been temporarily shut down, following a two-vehicle collision which sent three people to the hospital.

On Saturday (Dec. 2) shortly before 5:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a crash along Britannia Road and Creditview Road.

Police say, a man was located and sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

Subsequently, another man and a woman were located and also taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries are currently unknown.

The identities or place of residence of those involved in the accident have not been made public by police.

The area surrounding the collision has also been shut down for further investigations.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes for the time being.

Authorities have not indicated when they anticipate the roadways to reopen.
