3 million tulips to bloom in major Ontario tourist destination, just in time for Mother's Day

A massive tulip farm plus additional festival activities are set to open in a major Ontario tourist destination this week.

In a recent Instagram post, the TASC Flower Fields in Niagara-on-the-Lake announced that their massive tulip festival will kick off this week and run until early May.

The 55-acre facility, according to its website, now features more than 3 million tulips in over 100 varieties.

Beyond taking in acres upon acres of brilliant flowers — perfect for this upcoming Mother’s Day — the TASC grounds will also feature a variety of programming, such as regional wine tastings, live music, and art nights.

Several workshops will also be available to drop in on, and a rotating roster of food trucks will be driving around the grounds as well.

While marking a colourful beginning to spring, the bloom season at the TASC Flower Fields only lasts for a limited time, so those looking for a perfect spring activity had better book soon.

Ticket and programming information can be found on the official TASC Flower Fields website.
