$25,000 in cocaine seized by cops in Thunder Bay leads to charges against Mississauga man

A Mississauga man is facing drug trafficking charges after cops in Thunder Bay seized cocaine and cash from a home on March 1.

According to the OPP, officers with several police agencies joined forces to carry out the bust in which an estimated $25,000 in cocaine (nine ounces) and $6,000 in Canadian cash were gathered up by cops.

The OPP-led Provincial Joint Forces Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team, with help from Thunder Bay Police and Nishnawbe Aski Police, executed the March 1 search warrant.

Jammile Dyer, 22, of Mississauga, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

He’s next scheduled to appear in court in Thunder Bay on March 31.
