25-year-old female has died in a hit-and-run in Mississauga

Peel police and Peel Paramedics responded to a serious collision in Mississauga this evening (Feb. 20).
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Derry Rd west of Airport Rd in Malton.
The 25-year-old female was sent to hospital is in life-threatening condition.
The female later died at hospital.
The vehicle did not remain at the scene, police say.
At this time there is no vehicle description.

The collision was reported to police at 6:47 p.m. and the intersection was closed but has now re-open.
