A major lottery prize was won in Canada on Tuesday night.
Two tickets matched all seven numbers in the main Lotto Max draw.
That means they split the $25 million jackpot to take home $12.5 million each.
One of the tickets was sold in Quebec and the other in Alberta, according to Loto-Québec and the Western Canada Lottery Corporation.
Also in the main draw, two tickets matched six out of seven numbers plus the bonus to win the second prize of $67,486.50. Both were sold in Ontario.
Twenty-eight tickets got six out of seven numbers to win $4,911.70.
The $25 million jackpot meant that there were also 25 $100,000 maxplus prizes up for grabs in Tuesday night’s draw.
Four out of the 25 were won. Three went to tickets sold in Ontario and one to a ticket sold in Quebec.
