25 employers expected at job fair hosted by Pearson Airport in Mississauga

Pearson Airport in Mississauga hosts an aviation industry-wide job fair today.

More than 25 employers from across the passenger journey including the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, Air Canada, WestJet, Porter Airlines and many others are expected, according to a press release from the Greater Toronto Airports Authority.

Jobs employers are looking to fill include baggage handlers, security, customer services, food prep, skilled trades, administrative and professional roles.

An anticipated 400 prospective employees have registered to attend.

The job fair will “play a crucial role in ensuring that the industry is prepared and well-staffed for the upcoming winter season,” the Greater Toronto Airports Authority notes.

Registration, which is required for the event, has now closed.

The job fair is today, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Toronto Congress Centre.
