With the fog advisory cleared— double digits are in the forecast for Saturday, but for a limited time only as temperatures are expected to dip down 25 degrees by Sunday morning in Mississauga and Brampton.

This is not an April Fool’s joke —  in case that thought may have crossed your mind.

As of today (Apr. 1) Environment Canada has predicted the day to be mainly sunny with a high of 13 C with the possibility of a thunderstorm in the afternoon.

Wind speeds could also pick up to 30 km/h mid day with temperatures falling to 2 C.

As the evening approaches meteorologists say there could be a 30 percent chance of showers or flurries and temperatures moving into the negatives.

Although we are officially in Spring, The Weather Network says it will be a very cold Sunday with a windchill of up to minus 14 C.

Compared to today (Saturday) that is a 25 degree jump in temperatures for tomorrow.

Maybe you’ll want to seize the day and go out for that stroll and run those errands, because the frigid touch of winter will linger a bit longer this weekend, before shifting once again into warmer temperatures beginning Monday.
