Athletes and sports lovers in Mississauga will soon have two new places to get their game on, at any time of the day.

Kings Courts Sports, a sports facility chain with multiple locations in the GTA, is planning to open two new locations in Mississauga: One near Derry and Hurontario and another near Highway 401 and Mississauga Rd in Meadowvale.

They currently already have three existing locations in Mississauga, as well as locations in Oakville, Scarborough, Markham, Burlington, and a planned location for Etobicoke.

Kings Courts Sports describes itself as a “premier sports complex” that is open 24 hours a day.

The facilities lets groups rent out a half court, training court or full court (depending on each location), with two full courts at the Derry/Hurontario location.

Each full court ranges between 50 feet wide to 90 feet long, with basketball rims at 10 feet.

The complexes also offer a variety of programs and leagues, including a Men’s Basketball League, Pickup Basketball, Drop-In Volleyball, Pickleball, and a “Mini Kings & Queens” training program for kids 4 to 12 years old.

The Derry/Hurontario location is expected to open sometime in February.

In accordance with the province’s indoor capacity limits starting on January 31, the sports complexes will be limited to 15 people per full court and 8 people per half court.
