A 23-year veteran is the newest Deputy Fire Chief at Oshawa Fire Services.

Lance Fass has been appointed Deputy Fire Chief, Readiness and Support Services.

Fass has built a distinguished career marked by operational excellence, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to the community. Beginning as a front-line firefighter, he has played an instrumental role in shaping Oshawa Fire’s high standards through his active involvement with the Oshawa Professional Fire Fighters Association and key contributions to corporate initiatives.

In this new role Fass has assumed strategic oversight of several key areas, including training, mechanical, procurement, grants and Funding and will also serve as Labour Liaison.
