20-year-old Hamilton man charged with arson at McMaster University

Hamilton Police have taken a male into custody after he set fire to a single room within a residence at McMaster University.
On Jan. 28, at approximately 2 p.m., Hamilton Fire and Police services responded to a fire alarm call located at 1820 Main Street West.
The fire was extinguished and no injuries were suffered.
Police say they have arrested and charged a suspect in connection to the crime.
20-year-old Ruomu Ba, a resident of Hamilton, is being charged with arson and disregard for human life.
