2 tickets split Lotto 6/49 jackpot in Canada

Some big prizes were won in Wednesday night’s Lotto 6/49 draw in Canada.

Two tickets matched six out of six numbers to split the $5 million classic jackpot.

One of those tickets was sold in Ontario and the other in Saskatchewan, according to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation.

One Ontario ticket also got five out of six numbers plus the bonus to win $265,952.40, the WCLC said.

There were 75 tickets that got five out of six numbers to win $1,489.00.

Meanwhile, for the gold ball draw, a white ball was pulled and the guaranteed $1 million prize was handed out.

That went to a ticket that was sold in Alberta, the WCLC said.

Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw will feature the classic jackpot at its fixed $5 million, as well as a $42 million gold ball jackpot, or the guaranteed $1 million prize.
