Over 100,000 free COVID-19 rapid screening tests valued at $2 million have been given out to businesses in Milton, according to the Town’s Chamber of Commerce.

The Milton Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit, membership-based, volunteer-driven organization that represents more than 700 member businesses and individuals.

On their website, small and medium-sized businesses that employ up to 150 employees throughout the Town of Milton have the ability to order free workplace rapid test kits.

In order to participate in the Workplace Self Screening program, all participants must agree to immediately report their results as soon as employees have been tested.

Participants are also reminded that Halton Region Public Health does not need to be notified of any positive Workplace Self-Screening tests (rapid antigen tests).
