2 men charged with multiple firearm offences following Brampton drug investigation: police

Two men have been charged with multiple firearm offences following a proactive drug investigation near a busy intersection in Brampton yesterday.
Peel Regional Police say officers from the Strategic Tactical Enforcement Policing team investigated two individuals under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act shortly before 5 p.m., near Rutherford Road South and Clark Boulevard.
Officials say two loaded firearms were recovered as a result of the search.
Rodell Rohan Nancoo, 22, faces several charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited device, careless storage of a firearm and possession of property obtained by crime. He was also charged with fraud under $5,000 and various driving offences.
Alex Dominick Pennant, 24, faces similar charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited device, careless storage of a firearm and possession of property obtained by crime.
Both suspects remain in custody pending a bail hearing.
