Two individuals working at a stall in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market have tested positive for COVID-19.

The City of Hamilton made the announcement Friday (Apr. 16) and says the individuals last worked at the Market on Apr. 8.

They are reportedly self-isolating.

The name of the stall that the individuals were working in was not made public.

The City claims the individuals were wearing masks and had been practicing physical distancing but “are advising the community of these positive test results out of an abundance of caution.”

They added that a thorough cleaning took place at the Market and operating hours were not disrupted.
