2 men wanted for robbing a Hamilton convenience store leaving victims injured

The Hamilton Police Service is requesting help from the public in locating two suspects who robbed a local convenience store and caused injuries to the victims.

On Saturday (Feb. 18) 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police say two male suspects entered the Hess Variety convenience store located at 25 Hess St N., in Hamilton.

It is alleged that the suspects demanded merchandise from the store employee while brandishing weapons that caused injuries to the victims who were later treated by medics.

Police say the suspects fled-on-foot westbound near Hess St N/Market St.

The two men are described as black, between the ages of 20-25 years old, and were wearing dark clothing. They were also carrying a green bag.

Police are asking residents living in the area to check their video surveillance between the hours of 10:15 pm to 10:45 pm for any suspicious behavior.
