2 drivers charged with street racing in Brampton

Peel Regional Police have charged two drivers with going too ‘fast and furious’ in the early hours of Sunday morning in Brampton.
On Sunday (Feb. 26) 2023, at approximately 1 a.m., police intercepted two vehicles racing north from Steeles and along Mc Laughlin Rd S.
The rate of speed the drivers were going was not reported by the police, however, in a tweet following the incident it was mentioned that “it was an extremely high rate of speed.”
No accidents or injuries were reported.
Police say both drivers had their licenses suspended and their vehicles were impounded.
