Lottery ticket holders in Brampton, Mississauga, Niagara Falls and elsewhere should check their Lotto 6/49 numbers from last night (Oct. 26)–they could be big winners.

OLG officials say two winning tickets from the Oct. 26 Classic Draw, each worth $2.5 million, were sold in Brampton and Thunder Bay.

Additionally, a winning $100,000 Encore ticket was sold in Mississauga and a Lotto 6/49 second-prize ticket worth $130,270 was sold to someone in the Niagara region.

Ticket holders are encouraged by OLG to check their numbers as soon as possible and, for the winners, to contact the lottery organization as soon as possible.

The new Lotto 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multimillion-dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play.

The main draw has become the new Classic Draw and offers a fixed $5 million jackpot for every draw.

The next Lotto 6/49 draw is this Saturday, Oct. 29. A $39 million jackpot is up for grabs.
