18+ vaccination program begins in Mississauga and Brampton

Mississauga and Brampton residents aged 18 and over are now eligible to book their COVID-19 vaccination.
The Ontario government says it is broadening the vaccination program ahead of schedule by dropping the age limit with bookings beginning tomorrow through both the provincial and local health units starting at 8 a.m.
The move comes as the province expects 2.2 million more doses of vaccine this week, an amount that is arriving early.
By May 31, the age requirements are expected to be lowered again as those 12 and older will be eligible.
