18 to face off at major boxing event in Brampton

Punches will be thrown and dodged as boxers compete for glory at a major boxing event in Brampton this weekend.

The event, organized by United Boxing Promotions, will see a total of 18 boxers face off in nine matches at Brampton’s CAA Centre sports facility at 7575 Kennedy Rd S.

The matches will take place Saturday evening (May 28) from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Here’s who will be entering the ring:

  • Sukhdeep Singh (Ajax, Ontario, Canada – 10-0-0) VS Luca Michael Pasqua (Torino, Piemonte, Italy – 17-7-1)
  • Ricardo Brown (Spanish Town, Jamaica – 1-0-0) VS Santiago Martinez Perez (Mexico City, Mexico – 5-3-0)
  • Josh Wagner (Orangeville, Ontario, Canada – 10-0-0) VS Richard Holmes (Kingston, Jamaica – 19-12-0)
  • Mary Spencer (Montreal, Quebec, Canada – 4-0-0) VS Yamila Esther Reynoso (Buenos Aires, Argentina – 12-10-3)
  • Joshua Frazer (Brampton, Ontario, Canada – 3-0-0) VS Cristian Soriano Muruato (Gomez Palacio, Mexico – 3-1-0)
  • Tyler Pouli (Ontario, Canada – 0-0-1) VS Dylan Rushton (Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada – 2-6-3)
  • Javon Blackstock-Sewell (Kingston, Ontario, Canada – 1-0-0) VS Drake Olchowecki (Ontario, Canada – Pro Debut)
  • Karlton Hess (Brantford, Ontario, Canada – 3-2-0) VS Gregory Miller (Jamaica – 0-3-0)
  • Matt Dionne (Totonto, Ontario, Canada – Pro Debut) VS Haider Ali Khan (Ontario, Canada – 0-1-0)

United Boxing Promotions, an Ontario professional boxing promotions company, has been organizing professional boxing events since starting out in 2010 with the primary goal of building up the sport’s presence in Ontario.
