15 Brampton splash pads are open to beat the heat

Families looking for a way to cool off in the heat may want to check out one of Brampton’s 15 splash pads.
A heat warning issued for Wednesday (Aug. 3) predicted temperatures reaching 31 to 33 degrees Celsius in Brampton and surrounding areas with humidex values of 42 to 43.
The City of Brampton sent out a reminder that the splash pads are open and a great way to cool off today.

The splash pads are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day in the summer, weather permitting.

- Batsman Park – 389 Father Tobin Dr.
- Brampton Soccer Centre – 1495 Sandalwood Pkwy. E.
- Cassie Campbell Community Centre – 1050 Sandalwood Pkwy W,
- Century Gardens Recreation Centre – 340 Vodden St. E.
- Chinguacousy Park (also has a wading pool) – 9050 Bramalea Rd.
- Chris Gibson Recreation Centre – 3125 McLaughlin Rd.
- Creditview Sandalwood Park – Creditview Rd. & Sandalwood Pkwy. W.
- Dixie Sandalwood Park – 10600 Dixie Rd.
- Gage Park – 45 Main St. S.
- Michael Murphy Park – Squire Ellis Dr. & Martin Byrne Dr.
