14-year-old Niagara Falls youth charged with robbing three separate stores

A young offender has been charged with robbing three different Niagara Falls stores in a two-day spree.

Between 2:30 am on November 19 and 7 pm on November 20, Niagara Police say the same suspect had entered a Niagara Falls cannabis store, vape store, and a variety store and threatened to injure store employees at knife-point.

While no employees were injured in any of the three incidents, the suspect stole approximately $200 of merchandise.

Once detectives were able to identify a suspect, they arrested him yesterday (November 23) at 10:10 pm.

A 14-year-old male from Niagara Falls has been charged with three counts of robbery and failing to comply with a release order,

He was held in custody for a video bail hearing at the courthouse in St. Catharines today (November 24).

The Niagara Police are prohibited from identifying him under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act of Canada.
