14-year-old Ava reported missing after leaving Brampton home

Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since last week in Brampton.

Investigators with the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau say Ava was last seen on June 20 at approximately 6:30 p.m. after leaving her home on foot in the area of Creditview Road and Sandalwood Parkway.

Police describe Ava as a Caucasian female with a light complexion, standing about 5-foot-3 and weighing approximately 115 pounds. She has a thin build, brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.

At the time she was last seen, Ava was wearing a pink crew-neck sweater, grey shorts and light-coloured Crocs.

Authorities say both police and the girl’s family are concerned for her safety and well-being.
