Update: Duran has been found safe and returned home.

A 13-year-old girl from Welland left her house on April 1, never came home, was spotted in Niagara Falls on April 2 but continues to be missing.

Niagara Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for Antonia Duran, who left her Welland home in the Thorold Rd and Sumbler Rd area on foot on April 1 at 7:10 pm. From there, she went to a retail store on South Pelham Rd near Thorold Rd.

Leaving the store, she told friends she was going to Niagara Falls. Police report that she had been seen at a convenience store in the Thorold Stone Rd and Kalar Rd area of Niagara Falls on April 2 at roughly 2 pm.

However, she hasn’t been seen since and her current location is unknown.

She is described as a white female, 5-foot-2 with a slim/tiny build, dark brown-reddish dyed shoulder length hair, brown eyes and braces on her teeth. She was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, a black puffer-style winter jacket, carrying a tiny light blue backpack.

Niagara Police are concerned for her welfare.  Anyone with information about her location is asked to contact the investigating officer by calling 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1008980.
