Update:12-year-old girl from Hamilton found safe

Update: Police said the girl was found safe on July 5.

Hamilton Police Service is concerned for the well-being of a 12-year-old resident who has been missing since last night after leaving her house.

On Saturday (July 2) at approximately 10 p.m., police announced that the girl was last seen at her residence in the Upper Ottawa and Limeridge Rd. E. area.

Police noted that the 12-year-old left her residence on her own accord.
