Brampton residents age 18 and over who still need their first dose of the COVID19 vaccine can get a shot at a clinic on Thursday (June 3).

Vaccine Hunters Canada reported on Wednesday night that 101 doses of the Moderna vaccine will be available at the Shoppers Drug Mark at 3938 Cottrelle Blvd., with the earliest appointment at 9:20 a.m. Anyone seeking their first dose should bring their Ontario health card or another piece of government-issued identification.

Brampton has been one of the hardest-hit cities in Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic. While 72 per cent of residents aged 18 and older now have their first dose, Mayor Patrick Brown has asked the province to make the city and other hotspots a high priority in the schedule for second vaccines.
