$100K Encore lottery win leaves Burlington man speechless

A Burlington man is glad he said “Yes” to Encore, as it paid off with a $100,000 windfall.
Arvind Rakesh Kasturi, 33, matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the Nov. 24, Lotto 6/49 draw to win his prize.
Kasturi, a father of one, said he is a regular player of Encore.
“I received an email at 4:30 a.m. and didn’t know if I was dreaming or not, so I put my phone away,” he said when he picked up winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
“The next morning, I checked it again and I had no words.”
Arvind said his wife didn’t believe him and told him to keep checking his account to see if it was still there days later.

He plans to invest his winning and hopefully use some towards the purchase of a house.
“It feels so good. I have never been this lucky in my life.”
