Luck was in the air this Valentine’s Day for a Brampton man who won a $100,000 lottery prize.

Karan Bedi of Brampton bought a ticket for the Ontario 49 draw on Feb. 14.

And while he didn’t score the grand prize jackpot, Bedi still won $100,000 for matching the last six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order.

The OLG says Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1, and a draw every day. The OLG says it supports safe play and responsible gambling through its PlaySmart program.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Dixie Road in Mississauga.
