An Oshawa pet groomer with 30 years of playing the lottery under her belt is finally celebrating her first big win after scoring the $100,000 top prize with INSTANT BLAZING BOUNTY.

Melissa Lee said her favourite game is CROSSWORD, but she also likes to pick up new offerings. When she spotted the INSTANT BLAZING BOUNTY ticket she decided to give it a try.

“I’d actually had this ticket for quite some time before I played it,” Lee said while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim her winnings. “When I did, I wasn’t sure what I’d won, so I had my daughter review it. It was her that confirmed it was a winning ticket, but I hesitated to believe it at first.”

“I have yet to tell anyone about my win, but I look forward to surprising my dad by sharing some of my winnings with him.”

With her windfall she also plans to invest, help her daughter with her education and buy a new grooming bath.

BLAZING BOUNTY was available for $5 a play and the top prize was $100,000. Odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.59.

The winning ticket was purchased at Toms Food Store on Nonquon Road in Oshawa.
