100 Moderna doses available in Mississauga

One hundred doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine are available at a Mississauga pharmacy, Vaccine Hunters Canada says.

The VHC tweeted on Wednesday night that anyone aged 18 and over who has not had their first dose, or people who are eligible for their second dose, can book an appointment at the Truscott Pharmacy (2425 Truscott Dr.). Those eligible for a second dose incude people age 80 and over, Indigenous people, high-risk healthcare workers and people with specific high-risk conditions.

The appointments will start on Friday, June 4. Anyone arriving for an appointment must maintain social distancing and should bring either their Ontario health card or government-issued identification.

One hundred and one doses of the Moderna vaccine are also available in Brampton on Thursday for people age 18 and over who have not had their first dose.
