$10 million lottery jackpot was just won in Ontario

Anyone who purchased a Lotto Max ticket for Friday night’s draw may want to check their email, as a $10 million jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Ontario.

According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), the winning ticket was purchased online through OLG.ca.

The winning numbers for the draw were 3, 14, 15, 40, 45, 48 and 49, with a bonus number of 43.

Since the ticket was purchased online, OLG says the winner was notified directly by email that they are a major prize winner.

No additional $100,000 Maxmillions or Encore prizes were won in Ontario during the draw.

Players can check their tickets using the OLG app, on OLG.ca or at authorized lottery retailers.

Since 2009, Lotto Max players in Ontario have won billions of dollars in prizes, including numerous jackpot and Maxmillions wins, according to OLG.

OLG says 100 per cent of its profits are reinvested into Ontario communities and programs, while also promoting responsible play through its PlaySmart initiative.
