1 person injured in a morning stabbing in Brampton

One person was found injured in a stabbing in Brampton.
Emergency crews responded to Queen Street and Kennedy Road in Brampton around 6:40 a.m. this morning (Aug. 28), Peel Regional Police said in a tweet.
Police found one male victim and he was rushed to hospital.
There was no suspect information provided.
There is a heavy police presence in the area.
Police suggest drivers take alternative routes.
Update: Around 8 a.m., police said the victim is in stable condition.
