Police have reported an unfortunate death this afternoon in Oakville.
Police have reported an unfortunate death this afternoon in Oakville.
At about 2:48 p.m., officers received a call regarding a woman in her fifties drowning in a backyard pool on Silversmith Drive, south of Third Line at Upper Middle Road West.
The woman was quickly taken to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
At this time, police believe there is no foul play related to her drowning.
