Woman dies after being pulled from a private swimming pool in Brampton

A woman who was pulled from a swimming pool in Brampton has died.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Lime Ridge Drive near the area of Howden Boulevard and Dixie Road at 3:08 p.m. yesterday (May 31), a Peel Regional Police spokesperson tells inBrampton.

A woman was pulled from a private swimming pool at the home.

Paramedics started CPR and the woman was sent to hospital shortly before 4 p.m.

Despite their best efforts, she was pronounced dead a short time later, the spokesperson confirmed.

Police are investigating the cause of death and no further information will be released at this time.
