What you need to know about Halton’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics

Last week, Halton Region’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics opened up for people 80 years of age or older.
Currently, eligible seniors or someone on their behalf may book an appointment online to get their COVID-19 vaccines.
In order to help seniors travel to the clinics for their vaccinations, Halton Region has been working with the Specialized Local Municipal Transit service providers and private transportations services. This also includes taxis so that free transportation to the clinic can be arranged if required.
Halton Region has been working with the Specialized Local Municipal Transit service providers and private transportations services, including taxis, to ensure local residents 80 years and older can request and arrange free transportation to the clinic if needed.
Residents are reminded that there will be no walk-in appointments and are asked not to call the clinics directly.
Appointments can be made online or by calling 311 and will be available during the months of March and April.

The clinic locations include Gellert Community Centre, located at 10241 Eighth Line in Georgetown, St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre, located at 1280 Dundas Street West in Oakville, Compass Point Bible Church, located at 1500 Kerns Road in Burlington and Milton Centre for the Arts, located at 1010 Main Street East in Milton.
