Weapons, drugs seized after Mississauga ‘threatening’ incident leads to arrest of Georgetown man

An incident in Mississauga in which a person was threatened has led police to the arrest of a Georgetown man and the seizure of weapons, drugs and a replica firearm.

Peel Regional Police say patrol officers responded to a call in Mississauga on March 14 in which someone “allegedly brandished a firearm.”

This past Monday (March 20), Peel police officers and members of the tactical unit executed a search warrant at a home in Georgetown. They were also in search of a vehicle.

During a search, police seized a quantity of illicit drugs, prohibited weapons and a replica firearm/BB gun.

A man was arrested at the scene.

Zenon Squire, 30, of Georgetown, is charged with point firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking, utter threats, fail to comply with release order, breach of weapons prohibition and possession of a prohibited weapon.
