Oakville residents may want to take note of an upcoming road closure.
From 7 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 5, 2019, due to the 2019 Bed Bank challenge event, the following road closures will be in effect.
- Bronte Road between Marine Drive and Ontario Street
- Ontario Street between Bronte Road and Jones Street
According to the town of Oakville’s website, detour routes will be Jones Street and Marine Drive.
“There will be no parking within the closure on the morning of the event,” notes the town’s website. “Advance notice signs will be posted in the area.”
