Two new COVID-19 cases reported at Burlington grocery stores – January 3

Loblaw is reporting new COVID-19 cases at two of its store locations in Burlington.

The cases were confirmed on Sunday, January 3 at the Fortinos located at 2025 Guelph Line and the Fortinos at 1059 Plains Road East.

Both employees last worked on December 29.

“Given the important role we play in our communities, we are prepared for all possible situations, including a positive test for COVID-19 in our stores,” the company says.

“In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization in our stores.”
