If you like a big breakfast, nothing beats a breakfast buffet and Mississauga has some good choices. No matter what type of breakfast cuisine you are looking for, this top five will satisfy your hunger needs:

5 – Anjappar

If you want some spice in your breakfast buffet then Anjappar is for you. Located right in Mississauga City Centre off Rathburn and HWY 10 (as soon as your pass the bridge) is Anjappar. Anjappar is a South Indian restaurant with locations in Toronto and Brampton as well. If you try this place, you’ll find such classics at the buffet as vada, puri and idly. So if you want a change from the typical buffet food, this might be the place.

4 – Quiapo! Quiapo!

If you want a Filipino breakfast buffet then this place is for you. Quiapo! Quiapo! is the only restaurant in Mississauga that honours Kamayan-style eating by offering three menus of what they’ve named Budol Fight (to honour the owner’s cousin who is a graduate of PMA). You can get the Mighty Meat Budol, breakfast Budol or seafood Budol. On the weekends, they have a breakfast buffet that serves all the Filipino classics, including longanisa — all you can eat longanisa. Yes please! Check out the cover pictures.

3 – Glenerin Inn

The Sunday brunch is an elaborate brunch buffet that runs from 11 am to 2 pm. On Sunday, you can feast in the Sun Room, Grand Sun Room, Oak Room, Credit Valley Room and Evan Room — all of which can be booked for private functions. 2 – Breakwater Restaurant

The Breakwater Restaurant is located in the Waterside Inn, a boutique hotel situated in the south side of Mississauga in Port Credit. The airy and expansive dining room is a gorgeous space with high ceilings and majestic decor that pays homage to traditional fine dining and most certainly adds to the experience of Sunday brunch. There is a chef-manned carvery serving hand-carved prime cuts of meat, an omelette and waffle station, a hot lunch table, an antipasto bar and a dessert and pastry table. This takes Sunday brunch to the next level.

1 – Muddy Duck

The resto has really old-school homey décor that’s perfect for a casual family meal or low-key business lunch.  The buffet is what you would expect a great breakfast buffet to be, as they have all the traditional fixings like muffins, Danishes, croissants and artisan breads along with pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, quiche and home-fried potatoes. They also offer fresh strawberries with whipped cream, fresh-cut fruit salad, rice pudding and more. They also have an omelette station, which completes any worthwhile AM buffet.  Sundays get crazy, so make reservations for that day!
