While it’s not quite New Year’s Eve yet, you’re probably excitedly making plans (if you haven’t already) for the biggest party night of the year. If Santa brought you a sweet New Year’s Eve outfit (or the cash or gift card to grab one) or a nice LCBO haul, you’re almost ready to make the most of the last night of 2017 in Mississauga (just remember, MiWay service is free, so please don’t drink and drive).

If you’re still looking for something to do, we’ve got you covered.

Here are the top five places to party this New Year’s Eve in Mississauga.

5) New Year’s Eve, Prohibition Style

It was a great year for Door FiftyFive in Mississauga. The supercool cocktail hotspot held its own as one of the most popular bars in Mississauga and even opened a second location in Streetsville. If you want to ring in 2018 at one of Port Credits hottest restaurants, you can check out its New Year’s Eve, Prohibition Style event on Dec. 31. You can celebrate the New Year with–believe it or not–no cover charge (which is always a plus). You can also expect a champagne toast and DJ. Remember to dress up in your best roaring 20s outfit and to show up a little early, as the bar could fill up fast.

4) New Year’s Eve at Port House Social Bar & Kitchen

If you want to party at one of Mississauga’s newest hotspots, you might want to head down to the newly opened Port House. Located right on Lakeshore and Hurontario in Port Credit, the resto bar took over the old Ten location earlier in 2017 and it’s ringing in 2018 with its first New Year’s Eve party. Attendees can choose to attend the bash for $25 or spend $90 for a four-course meal (with reserved seating) and the after party. A DJ will be on hand, so you can get your dance on. There will also be a sparkling wine toast at midnight.

3) New Year’s Eve 2018 at Failte

If you want a more relaxed and casual New Year’s Eve, you might want to hit up City Centre icon Failte. Located very close to the action at Celebration Square, you’ll be close to the fireworks while dancing inside a nice warm pub. For a little over $50, you can grab that a dinner ticket that includes a three-course meal, a complimentary midnight champagne toast, party favours and professional photography. Attendees can also enjoy a live performance by J8ke

2) Casino Royale New Year’s Eve 2018 at &Co.

Young, urban and hip, &Co Resto Bar is perfect for a both a raucous and elegant night out. This dinner and dance party costs between $50 and $110 (depending on what you want) and boasts live DJs. The $50 package consists of party favours and a midnight champagne toast. The baller $110 ticket includes all of the above plus a four-course dinner. You can also get bronze, silver or gold VIP bottle service if you really want to ring in the New Year in style.

1) Celebration Square

Celebration Square boasts the biggest party in Mississauga and it’s the only party where you’ll find the insauga.com founder Khaled Iwamura and the very popular DJ Shaun Frank, who will be performing live with Delaney Jane. Families with little ones can also relax while the kids enjoy the first ever New Year’s Eve jr. Attendees can also expect musical performances by Honors, Kiki Rowe and electro-trio Wolf Saga. The festivities will kick off on Dec. 31 at 8:00 p.m. and end with midnight fireworks. The entire night’s festivities will be hosted by Khaled Iwamura and Scott Willats.

UPDATE: Due to the cold weather the event is going to start at 11:30pm
