From Chinese and Middle Eastern cuisine, to bubble tea and pizza joints, this year was a pretty good one for new food locations opening up in Oakville.
Whether it’s downtown Oakville, scenic Bronte or the fast growing area north of Dundas St., local residents had plenty of choices to grab a bite or quench their thirst.

Tahini’s Mediterranean Cuisine celebrated its Grand Opening on June 5 at its new location in Oakville.

Brewed to order with multiple topping options, Gotcha Fresh Bubble Tea opened a new location at Upper Oakville Shopping Centre.
The menu features a vast selection of fresh tea’s that include their luxury bubble tea, signature milk tea, taro milk tea, brown sugar crème brûlée milk tea, and fruit teas such as their kiwi and passion fruit tea, made with real fruit.

Popular Chinese restaurant Pearl Chinese Cuisine opened a third location at Oakville Place.
Established in 1983, the chef’s specials include the pan-fried dumpling with shrimp and chives, the silver noodle with shrimp and chicken and the barbecue pork tenderloin.
Other popular choices include the Braised lobster in homemade sauce with noodles and the sautéed duck breast with ginger and pineapple.
