Taste of Oakville brings live music to the table for first time

Local food lovers will be able to enjoy the diverse culinary cooked up in this year’s Taste of Oakville, while taking in the sweet sounds of life music.

For the first time, Visit Oakville has partnered with local musicians to perform at select restaurants on Tuesdays throughout the event, which begins Feb. 15 and runs through to March 10.

This year’s Taste of Oakville features over 35 local restaurants, including 18 in Downtown Oakville, who have prepared tasty menus for those looking to visit a restaurant they have never been to or looking to try something new at their favourite place.

“We’re thrilled to feature local musicians at Taste of Oakville this year,” said Rebecca Edgar, Executive Director of Visit Oakville which organizes Taste. “Along with promoting local talent, we believe it will add to the ambience and enjoyment of the Taste experience.

“We thank MPP Stephen Crawford and his office for their ongoing support, as well as our partners: Downtown Oakville, Kerr and Bronte BIAs, the Oakville Centre for Performing Arts, and the Oakville Chamber of Commerce.”   

This marks the third year that Taste of Oakville is Oakville-wide.

Residents can satisfy those taste buds with everything from popular burger, pizza, Greek and Italian restaurants to East Indian food, steakhouses and a sushi house.
